The vacation home is located near more than 60 kilometers of child-friendly sandy beaches, where the whole family can swim, play, and relax. The natural surroundings of Skagen are perfect for biking and hiking, trips to Grenen—where the two seas meet—or a visit to Råbjerg Mile, Denmark’s largest shifting sand dune. Skagen is perfect both during the summer months and for cozy stays the rest of the year.
About the vacation home
Vacation Home No. 97 is located in the Skagen Strand Vacation Center. The home features two separate bedrooms with a total of four beds. On the open-concept first floor, you’ll find two additional single beds, as well as space for an extra bed. In addition, there is a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances, a bright bathroom, and a south-facing terrace where you can enjoy the sun.
As a guest, you have access to the resort’s many facilities, including a water park with a sauna and steam room, a fitness center, a sports hall, a playground, and various outdoor activities. There’s something for both children and adults all year round.
Location and Transportation
Skagen Strand Feriecenter is located about a 12-minute drive from downtown Skagen. There is ample parking at the resort, and the area is ideal for both road trips and bike rides.
Practical information
- Final cleaning is mandatory and costs 719 DKK. The amount is payable at the front desk at the end of your stay.
- Any charges will also be paid at the front desk after your stay.
- The center also charges an environmental fee of 25 kr. per night.

The apartment is located in the lovely Skagen Holiday Center, which features an indoor pool with a water slide, a sauna, and a steam room. We were there in October, and it was a cozy area even though it was windy. The underfloor heating in the house is wonderful. There is a bedroom on the ground floor and a room on the first floor with two single beds. In addition, there are two single beds in the open loft.
The living room and kitchen are spacious and have everything you need.
It’s a 10-minute drive from Skagen, so it’s easy to get there. The beach is also a 10-15 minute walk through nature, so the location is great.
There is no view from the apartment, so we’ve given it a slightly lower rating for location and view.
We go there as often as we can—as long as there’s a house available!
A lovely vacation apartment with plenty of activities for children and adults. Trains to Skagen and Frederikshavn are just a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

The ground-floor bedroom opens onto a walkway.
The remaining 5 beds are located on the first floor. You reach it via a narrow spiral staircase—which will be a challenge if you have difficulty walking.
We were glad that there weren't seven of us staying in the apartment.

We spent a long weekend there with a couple of friends and their kids. And it was a fantastic stay!
Great facilities at the water park, including a sauna, steam room, and a pretty fun water slide.
We were at the sports hall playing badminton and table tennis… (we brought our own rackets, bats, and balls) and used the soccer field and played mini-golf (for free) a couple of times.
Bonus info: The light rail runs right past the resort, and it’s just two stops to Skagen. Easy and convenient—and you don’t have to play rock, paper, scissors to decide who’s driving home.
About the property:
The upper floor is perfect for 4–5 people. A lovely sun terrace with sun loungers, tables, and chairs, as well as a brand-new grill. It worked out great for us.
A lovely vacation resort with plenty of activities that are free to use (though you’ll need to bring your own rackets and the like). A nice, well-appointed vacation apartment. We’d definitely consider staying there again.
