An authentic medieval town with stunning views and charm
Seborga is a little gem in northwestern Italy, surrounded by mountains and with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. The town is known for its narrow streets, old stone houses, and peaceful atmosphere. Here you can enjoy a vacation with a genuine Italian village atmosphere, far from mass tourism, yet close to culture, nature, and coastal life.
Seborga is just a half-hour drive from the elegant coastal town of San Remo and only an hour from Nice, so you can easily combine the peaceful village life with the beach, shopping, and the atmosphere of the French Riviera. The Ligurian Sea is right nearby, where you’ll find beautiful beaches and charming coastal towns. The area also offers fantastic opportunities for hiking in the mountains and exploring small medieval villages. In addition, there are local restaurants where you can sample authentic Italian dishes and wine from the region.

A comfortable and cozy apartment with a breathtaking view. We really relaxed here in a warm and peaceful atmosphere. The apartment was very clean, and the host was attentive and helpful. We had a wonderful time. We’ll be back. I highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, is looking for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful—truly beautiful!!
We rented both the Balcony and the Terrace for three weeks and had a wonderful stay, with friends and family visiting us at the Terrace. Having both accommodations at our disposal allowed us to make the most of the facilities while enjoying time together and shared experiences. Seborga is a small, very beautiful, and exceptionally peaceful mountain village with a clear sense of historical pride. If you’d like to try a unique culinary experience, book a table at the nearby family-run restaurant Case Cassini, 3.5 km from Seborga. It is only open on Sundays—when a 13-course meal, the same for all guests, is served in the afternoon—so be sure to book a table at least 8 days in advance. There are many great hiking trails around Seborga—and visits to Bordighera, Bussana Vecchio, the castle in Dolceacqua, and San Remo are highly recommended. We would love to come back.
A lovely apartment located on a hilltop in the charming medieval town of Templi.
The road to the town winds through several hairpin turns, offering fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the hills of Liguria.
The apartment is small but very well laid out, with a light and airy feel.
We highly recommend this for a truly special experience.
P.S. Don't forget to make a reservation for lunch at the local restaurant.
The apartment is well-appointed and perfect for two. Lovely terrace with stunning views of the mountains, the Riviera, and the sunset.
Seborga is a charming little town with a fascinating history. You can pick up essentials at the small grocery store, and there are plenty of supermarkets within a half-hour drive. There were also two excellent restaurants open in town.
If you enjoy hiking, there are many options for both long and short hikes, including marked trails.
Both the town and the surrounding area really have a lot to offer. We were there for 14 days, and it wasn’t too long.
A truly lovely home for two people with a fantastic view. Well-appointed with a relaxing atmosphere. The view is top-notch, and the town is cozy and quiet.
A beautiful home with stunning views in a charming mountain town
A truly lovely apartment for two people in the charming mountain village of Seborga. The apartment is beautifully decorated, and apart from the AC, everything worked perfectly. The village has a lively atmosphere, including a grocery store, three restaurants, and two evenings a week (in the summer) featuring communal dining, music, and dancing. Great location.
A half-hour drive to the beach/San Remo. We highly recommend this place
We had a truly wonderful week in this cozy and beautifully renovated apartment. We enjoyed the view, the charming little Italian town, the town festivals, and the walks in the area. We highly recommend this apartment.
A fantastic home with a superb view down toward Monaco. The balcony is large and lovely. You’ll need to park your car in a public parking lot not far from the home. For the most part, you’ll need to drive to one of the larger nearby towns to do your shopping.
A really lovely week in Seborga. A lovely place to stay with a fantastic view, where we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony every morning. A cozy little—quiet—town. Great options for day trips—a car is highly recommended. We shopped at the store next door (limited selection) and ate in town at Marcellino’s. As for parking, we drove around town to find a spot here. Plenty of spots available every day.
It’s a lovely apartment with a fantastic view! Parking is available at the town’s public parking lot a little further down the street. It can be a challenge to find a spot. Be sure to buy the absolute essentials BEFORE arriving at the apartment, as it’s a 30-minute drive down the mountain to the nearest supermarket. There is a “grocery store” right next to the apartment. However, it was never open while we were there. The neighbor’s dogs stood barking all day right at the entrance to our apartment. We didn’t know anything about a shared laundry room while we were there. Nice new furniture on the balcony. There is a well-equipped kitchen. We never figured out what to do with trash and garbage. There should be an information booklet with important and useful details, such as the garbage collection schedule and shopping options, since you’re pretty isolated up on the mountain.
