Great apartment and neighborhood. We've stayed in both 1B and 2A, and both apartments come highly recommended.
Nice apartment in a great location near the beach, restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery, and more. Easy to get to and from by train from Malaga Airport. There’s an exciting zoo just 500 meters from the apartment. We’d love to come back.
This is our second time staying in this apartment, and we’ll definitely be back.
I recommend taking the bus to Ronda—maybe even staying overnight—because there’s so much to see.
On a small side street off Palangreros, there’s a little bakery that’s right up Claus Meyer’s alley. It’s called Fermentino.
Remember that items like pizza, salads, and tapas can often be shared. At many restaurants, it’s standard practice to be able to take leftovers home in a doggy bag.
We bought a beach chair that we’ve donated to the apartment. It was a great investment.
It’s true that the balcony is small. However, we’ve sat there and enjoyed being outdoors, eating or having a drink.
A lovely apartment in a great location on a quiet one-way street, yet right in the heart of the “golden spot” and just a short walk from the supermarket, charming pedestrian streets, the beach, and local city life. There were two of us, and we had plenty of space. We had no trouble finding free parking spots for our rental car in the streets near “our” street, where parking is prohibited (at the end of April).
We’d love to come back.
Nice apartment in a great location, very close to the beach and right in the heart of the city’s best shopping and dining district.
Probably better suited for 4 people than 6, but there are 6 sleeping spots.
Very narrow balcony, which is more of a name than a reality, but it’s there and gets sun from mid-morning to mid-afternoon even in February.
I completely agree with other reviewers. Great location. Very easy to get to. Fuengirola offers a nice mix of tourism and local life—especially during the off-season (we were there in January). The locals and staff everywhere were very friendly and welcoming. The single double bed in the rooms is a bit small when you’re four grown-up Danes 😉 All in all, a well-functioning apartment, with on-site internet, etc.
Centrally located without too much street noise. The apartment is best suited for two adults looking for convenience. The balcony is purely decorative. You’d have to be a size S or M to be able to sit out there.
Lovely apartment. Take the train from the airport—it works great.
The buses are easy to use and run smoothly, for example to Mijas Pueblo.
We bought a toaster, so now we have one!
Fantastic beach. Great swimming water. Beach chairs cost €7 each, and it’s money well spent.
We’ll be back!
A lovely, well-maintained, nicely renovated small apartment, perfect for four. The balcony is good for two. The sun hits it around 9 a.m., but it’s shaded again in the afternoon and evening. The apartment is perfectly located, very close to the beautiful beach and definitely in the most charming part of town. Try taking the train to Plaza Major Outlet or one of the truly local restaurants in the atrium courtyard just around the corner. Here, “only” the locals come, the kids play in the middle, and you get great Spanish food at really cheap prices. – A little oasis.
Great location near the city and the beach; you can get there without needing a rental car or taxi
A lovely new apartment on a quiet street lined with orange trees, yet close to everything. We’d love to come back.
A lovely, cozy apartment close to everything (shopping, the beach, restaurants). At Palangreros (a restaurant at No. 22, 100 meters from the apartment), you’ll find delicious food, great service, and a lovely setting; also try Charolais (featured in the Michelin Guide; wonderful food and a delightful atmosphere). Mijas (the White Town) is definitely worth a visit. Or take the train to Málaga and see the Castillo de Gibralfaro, the Picasso Museum, or the cathedral.
Centrally located with limited sunlight. Suitable for 4 people. In a newer building, easily accessible even though it is on the second floor.
