An authentic Croatian vacation near the bay
Karin is a small, charming town in Croatia with roots dating back to Roman times. Here you can still find archaeological remains such as a small amphitheater and a temple dedicated to the goddess Latra. Over the years, the town has evolved from a center of wine-making and livestock farming into a cozy vacation destination where life moves at a leisurely pace and nature is right at your doorstep.
Just a short drive away lies Zadar, a lively port city with a wealth of restaurants, historic sights, and, not least, the famous Sea Organ, where the waves play music. Here, you can easily combine relaxing days by the bay with exciting cultural experiences.
About the apartment
Karin Punta St. Th. is a newly renovated vacation rental featuring a kitchen-dining area/living room, a bathroom, and a separate bedroom. The apartment is best suited for two adults, but can also accommodate two children on the sofa bed in the living room. Perfect for a small family looking for a simple and functional base close to the water.
The apartment is located in the same building as Karin Punta, ground floor, and Karin Punta, first floor, making it possible to rent multiple units together—an ideal solution if you’re traveling with the whole family or several groups of friends. The building is just a short walk from the bay, where you can swim, try stand-up paddleboarding, go kayaking, or fish.

A really lovely apartment with a nice terrace and close to the beach. The town has a small grocery store, a restaurant, a cozy beach bar, and a café. But if you walk or drive about 2 km, you’ll find several restaurants with beautiful views of the water. By car, you can take day trips to Zadar, the coastal town of Nin, several nature parks, a boat tour from the neighboring town, and a must-see: Plitvice Lakes National Park—it’s so beautiful.
A really nice little apartment—just a short walk from the beach and a small grocery store (a garage sale, really), but they have bread and whatever else you might need… or at least what we needed 😉 The area around the apartment is a small resort town. There’s only one simple restaurant and a few cafes and bars, but by car you can get around the area quickly and easily—for example, to Zadar and other places.
