Visit the northernmost part of Denmark
Skagen is one of Denmark’s most popular vacation destinations, and for good reason. This is where the Kattegat and the Skagerrak meet, and you can experience the unique light that has attracted artists for generations. The town offers white sandy beaches, charming streets lined with cafés and shops, and a rich cultural scene featuring museums, galleries, and events. Whether you’re looking for relaxing days at the beach, an active vacation in nature, or cultural experiences, Skagen has something for everyone.
The vacation home is located near more than 60 kilometers of child-friendly sandy beaches, where the whole family can swim, play, and relax. The natural surroundings of Skagen are perfect for biking and hiking, trips to Grenen—where the two seas meet—or a visit to Råbjerg Mile, Denmark’s largest shifting sand dune. Skagen is perfect both during the summer months and for cozy stays the rest of the year.

A nicely furnished home with plenty of room for 6–7 people. Great location in a quiet area, and the amenities in and around the resort are fantastic. Conveniently close to Skagen, just a short drive away.
A lovely resort with plenty of activities, including for children. A 10-minute walk to the beach. A great restaurant with fantastic staff. Easy access to attractions. We’ll be back.
A beautiful area for hiking, running, and cycling. The resort is very family-friendly, featuring a water park and a full-size sports hall. Ideal for a family vacation or active retirees
Clean and tidy—perfect for when you have your dog with you. One downside is the staircase to the first floor—it’s narrow and steep—but on the other hand, it doesn’t take up much space.
A lovely house—it has everything you need. The patio tiles need cleaning (or replacement).
The location is perfect—just a 10-minute walk from the train station. You’ll be in downtown Skagen in no time, with no parking hassles.
A lovely family home, suitable for 2 children and 4 adults.
Great outdoor facilities and a decent swimming pool with a slide.
A truly lovely place to stay—everything was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. We had a small, secluded terrace, and from the first floor of the house, we enjoyed a lovely view of green fields and trees. Parking was available right outside the door. We highly recommend this home and Skagen Strand. The only minor downside was the staircase to the first floor—it wasn’t exactly “fun” going down.
also a great experience in stormy weather.
Everything's fine
Great place with options for mini-golf, a small “water park” (max water depth 140 cm), badminton, fitness, and tennis.
We brought our own bikes, which can also be rented, and cycled to Skagen, the lighthouses, Råbjerg Mile, and Aalbæk
The local train runs right to the door and is great for bringing bikes along.
A really, really nice place that we’ll definitely visit again.

A lovely vacation home 13 km south of Skagen. If you don’t have a car, you can take the train; Hulsig Station is right across from Skagen Strand. There are plenty of great activities for both children and adults. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. The water park looks nice, though I haven’t used it myself. The sleeping arrangements on the loft in this home are well-designed—there’s a room with a door and then the loft itself, which is open. We’ve stayed there twice in a year.
