Vacation apartment with ocean views, a lounge area, and a short walk to the beach and town
The Budva House (ground floor) boasts a fantastic location with ocean views and is just a five-minute drive from a wide, inviting sandy beach. In about 15 minutes (by car), you can reach Budva’s historic center, which is often compared to Dubrovnik because of its beautiful old town and to Monaco for its lively nightlife and casinos. Additionally, it’s just a 5-minute drive to a large, wide sandy beach.
CNN Travel has called Budva a “glamorous coastal town” and one of the highlights of Montenegro. Learn more about this here.
About the vacation rental
The vacation apartment (living room) can accommodate up to six people. It features two bedrooms with double beds, and there are two additional sleeping spots on a sofa bed in the living room. Outside, there is a lovely shared lounge area, which is shared with the two other apartments in the Budva House—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or in town.
Location and Transportation
The apartment is just a 20-minute drive from Tivat Airport. You can also fly into Podgorica Airport or Dubrovnik Airport. For those who wish to drive there from Denmark, there is a highway all the way to Dubrovnik, after which the final leg of the trip—about three hours—is on country roads. Montenegro is a new and exciting travel destination that offers nature, culture, and beach life.

A truly wonderful vacation. The apartment definitely lived up to our expectations, and what a lovely country. This won’t be our last trip to Montenegro. I would definitely recommend two restaurants located nearby (5 min. by car): Plaza Ploce and the restaurant at Farma Carevic (which is a bit like a mini-zoo). Both places have a fantastic view. I was actually recommended these two by the Danish guy who lives diagonally across from “our” house.
We had a wonderful Easter vacation at Budvahuset! It’s perfectly secluded and offers a wonderful sense of peace and privacy. The house is well-maintained and fully equipped with everything we needed.
Although it’s a bit far from the nearest beach and town, that was part of the charm for us. We enjoyed having our own little oasis, and the short distances to both the beach and town aren’t a problem at all by car.
Budvahuset is located in a beautiful, quiet, and fairly secluded area close to the coast. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and everything works. We were a family of four adults, and it worked out just fine.
Unfortunately, there is no ocean view from the ground floor—you’ll need to stay on the 1st or 2nd floor to enjoy the house’s beautiful panoramic view. Common facilities—the lounge and jacuzzi—are located right next to the ground-floor apartment’s kitchen exit and terrace.
There are no beaches or shopping options within walking distance, so a car is practically a necessity.
The Budva house is ideally located for exploring most of Montenegro’s attractions.
