Apartment with ocean views, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms
The apartment is in a fantastic location with ocean views and just a five-minute drive from a wide sandy beach. In just 15 minutes (by car), you can reach the center of Budva, a town often compared to Dubrovnik for its historic charm and to Monaco for its glamorous city life and casinos. Additionally, it’s just a 5-minute drive to a large, wide sandy beach.
CNN Travel describes Budva as a “glamorous coastal town” and one of Montenegro’s highlights. Read more here.

FANTASTIC views that we enjoyed morning and evening, with the sunset providing the perfect end to the day. The house is a bit off the beaten path and hard to find the first time. There is
3 lovely beaches nearby; we liked Ploce Beach best, with its cliffs, the cheapest and best beach chairs, and great service with food and drinks. We ate twice at “The Farm” Carevic…delicious à la carte food at a very reasonable price. We also ate at Sea Glamping, which was lovely and cozy.
A trip on a rented boat with a skipper on Lake Skadar was a highlight. We drove to Rijeka Crnojevića and took a 3-hour trip…FANTASTIC.
There is a lot of roadwork between Thivat and Budva, so factor that in when planning your trip. There is a shortcut via small mountain roads, but it’s a bit too challenging with gravel, large potholes, and no room for two cars.
Remember that shops and supermarkets are closed on Sundays.
At the end of September 2024, we flew to Dubrovnik in Croatia, rented a car, and drove for a couple of hours until we arrived at Investering & Feriebolig’s fantastic house near Budva, “Budvahuset.” We were completely blown away when we stepped into the second-floor apartment and saw the 180-degree view of the Adriatic Sea. On the first day, we just sat and lounged on the balcony, soaking up the sun and the view. Even in early October, it was warm enough for a few trips to a really nice beach just a 5-minute drive from the house. Budva is a really charming town, and the old town is incredibly charming with its ancient city walls. The town is 2,500 years old, so it’s full of character. There are several good restaurants, bars, etc. Definitely worth a visit. There are quite a few other interesting places to visit, and the house offers access to a spa on the terrace. We were there with our grown sons, and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
A comfortable home with a fantastic view of the Adriatic Sea in a very quiet area. Budva is a compact town with plenty to offer (shopping, the beach, padel). Lovely October weather. The drive from Split to Budva along the coast couldn’t be more beautiful.
Spacious apartment with a fantastic view.
Located somewhat off the beaten path, 1.5 km from the beach and 8 km from Budva.
The apartment is very sparsely furnished.
A very nice apartment with two bathrooms. Beautiful view of the water. Basic kitchen equipment—and don’t forget coffee filters for the coffee maker. We parked right by the house since our car wasn’t very big.
We stayed on the second floor of the Budva House and had an absolutely fantastic view of the Adriatic Sea. However, we missed having a pool, as the summer of July 2023 was very hot. Everything in the apartment worked perfectly—the kitchen and bathroom. There can be a bit of a scramble for the 3-4 parking spots, since you have to share them with the local residents, who, by the way, were very nice and friendly. Great vacation experience 🙂
September 3–20. A lovely, spacious house. We rented the ground-floor apartment for our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, and the second floor for ourselves and our daughter. The ground-floor apartment is very charming, with access to the incredibly cozy garden area featuring a terrace and a hot tub. The second floor offers a fantastic panoramic view of the Adriatic Sea.
The house is well-equipped with sun loungers and other outdoor furniture, table tennis, a soccer game, and darts.
Several lovely beaches nearby and beautiful, exciting nature right outside the door. Be sure to visit Farma Carevic, an open farm with a lovely restaurant located within walking distance of the Budva House. There is also a small grocery store within walking distance, but otherwise you’ll need to drive to the shops, the beach, and restaurants, which is why it’s “only” 4 stars for location. Highly recommended.
